Wendy Jia is an abstract painter based in Metro Vancouver, Canada, working intuitively to explore emotional landscapes shaped by memory and the natural world.

Working with acrylic, ink, and mineral pigments on raw canvas and ramie fabric, compositions unfold through soft transitions, organic forms, and layered, tactile texture. Earthy, atmospheric color builds gradually, each mark responding to the last in an evolving, instinctive dialogue. Inspired by nature and personal memory, the work captures thoughts and sensations as they shift and settle over time.
